The Future Pathway was founded in 2002 by Mr. Akram Ali, a retired principal of Government Degree College Sheikhupura, driven by his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of underprivileged children in Pakistan. With over three decades of experience in education, Mr. Ali witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by children in impoverished communities, particularly in accessing quality healthcare and education.
Determined to make a difference, Mr. Ali gathered like-minded individuals and established The Future Pathway. Initially starting as a small initiative in Sheikhupura, the organization quickly gained momentum due to its impactful work and the passionate commitment of its volunteers and supporters.
In the early years, The Future Pathway focused on conducting health camps in remote areas, providing free medical check-ups, vaccinations, and essential treatments. Recognizing the critical link between health and education, the organization soon expanded its scope to include educational programs. Scholarships, school supplies, and after-school tutoring became integral parts of our mission, ensuring that children not only stay healthy but also thrive academically.
By 2010, The Future Pathway had established several community learning centers equipped with libraries and computer labs, offering children a safe space to study and grow. Our teacher training programs have empowered local educators, enhancing the quality of education in underserved areas.
Over the years, our reach has expanded beyond Sheikhupura, touching the lives of thousands of children across Pakistan. Our integrated approach, addressing both health and education, has proven to be a sustainable model for community development.
